A unique opportunity to meet Palestinians or their descendants, internally displaced by the wars of 1948 and 1967. Understand what it is like to live in one of the most populated refugee villages only thirty minutes from Hebron and Bethlehem. Travel arranged by public transport or private car depending on numbers.
SOUTH HEBRON HILLS
Another unique opportunity to visit where most tourists don’t get the chance to go. Travel through a landscape of olive trees, grapevines and tiered rock walls to the sparsely vegetated, desert hillsides. Understand the tenuous lives of rural Palestinian farmers/Bedouins living in areas surrounded by Israeli settlements. Transport by private car.
